Power Outage
  On December 14, the Puget Sound Region experienced a storm that left many residents without power. Our house was without electricity for 7 days. We didn't realize how much we relied on electricity and technology but thought we could tough it out. By the third night, the house was freezing cold and even the warm water bottles, the fireplace (first time lit in 10+ years!) and layers of clothing just didn't cut it, plus we didn't want the kids to get sick... So, we went over to the Shi's and subsequently the Poon's when their power was up and running again. We were so blessed to have friends and family that offered their hospitality and opened their homes to us. Thank you again, you guys are so awesome!  bob and eunice
